Blog Review: PointlessBanter

… I promised to review Pointless Banter’s blog. But I’m dreading it. He has considerable sway on numerous blogging networks and a witty tongue. Think of it as criticizing Al Capone.

Little mouse takes a big breath, and leaps in.

From the neck down…

Things look good if you skip the header.

The blog ticks all the right boxes:

- Intriguing images grab attention and keep it. Check.

- Bite sized chunks of blog content. Check.

- Controversial blog content makes you comment and return. Check.

- Blog content reflects the title. Check

- Links to related topics at the end of blog posts. Check.

- Regular blog posts. Check.

- Pointless Banter is a furious marketeer, and is officially dug. Check.

So, how can the blog be improved?

Well, as you may have gathered, the header is not attractive.

If I hold my hand over the remainder of the blog, I can imagine posts for cheap medicine or insurance tips.

(I assume Pointless Banter’s header is intentional because it is very easy to personalize. Here’s how to do it.)

Otherwise, perhaps there’s a bit too much in the right columns? Perhaps it might be better organized for easier access.

But that’s it. Really, it’s almost perfect!
